Main duties of the job

As a Recruitment Assistant, you will be the guardian of our recruitment standards, ensuring that candidates receive a professional and expedited onboarding experience. Dive into the world of legislative requirements, mastering ID checks, right to work in the UK, and DBS checks. In this high-volume role, you will be responsible for around 100 candidates at a time, racing against the clock to clear pre-employment hurdles swiftly and safely, within defined target times. Your efforts will directly impact patient care by getting new recruits into their roles promptly. Tech Savvy: Learn to confidently navigate our Applicant Tracking System, keeping accurate notes for audit purposes and corresponding with candidates and managers Using discernment: Foreseeing issues, removing obstacles and knowing when to escalate when help is needed Qualifications and Skills: Good standard of written and verbal communication skills to respond to queries and speak with managers and candidates over the phone, on MS Teams and over email Tenacious and well-organized with a keen eye for detail. Pragmatic and adept at understanding and applying legislative requirements across a range of different scenarios.   • Educated to GCSE's level (including Maths and English) NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 3 Foundation or working towards a professional HR qualification

  • Experience of working in an administrative role
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment and following procedures accurately
  • Experience of using an applicant tracking management system.
