(SWL Diagnostics Programme)

An exciting opportunity has arisen, working as the Head of Diagnostics Digital Transformation within the SWL Diagnostics Programme, SWL Acute Provider Collaborative (APC). The SWL APC is made up of the four acute hospital Trusts, namely, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and St George's Universities Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As Head Diagnostics Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the programme objectives and deliverables as detailed below:

  • Delivery of the 5 Year Diagnostics Vision / Strategy
  • Development and Delivery of SWL Diagnostics Digital Roadmap
  • Manage and Support delivery of the Operating Plan Diagnostics digital requirements and targets
  • Manage and Support delivery of NHS National Diagnostic vision and objectives

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an inspiring individual who can make a significant contribution to our diagnostic programme and work with the senior project team to develop, manage and deliver the diagnostic digital programme deliverables. Provide project management insight in leading and delivery of specified work streams.

You will need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of strategically leading and delivering digital programmes, understanding of current NHS digital infrastructure and anticipated future direction of travel.

We will look for evidence of your ability to plan, implement and deliver programmes including practical project management capability. Professional insight to grasp the key challenges of the post, be innovative, resilient and be able to work at a fast pace to engage with system partners, clinical leaders and other stakeholders.

Experience of working within the NHS setting or with IM&T or digital setting will be an advantage in this role. Educated to Masters Level, or with the equivalent in relevant experience, you will also need significant experience in project management.

  • Developing project delivery plans, KPIs and outcomes for a portfolio of programmes.
