Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic substantive full-time administrator to join our well-respected ENT Department at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 5 System Patient Pathway Navigator for Head and Neck Cancers.
This is an exciting opportunity to support our expanded one-stop service initiative and seek to further strengthen collaborative working with our neighboring hospital providers. This post although primarily based at Kingston hospital will require working at neighboring hospital provider sites including St Georges Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a professional telephone manner who will be able to interact with the public, clinicians, and other internal and external departments as part of the Multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive and professional administration service for the Head and Neck pathway, maintaining robust systems of Head and Neck data across the network and working at different hospitals. The Post holder will be working as part of a dedicated team to provide support to our patient focused service. This is a key administrative role supporting the Head and Neck Clinical Network and working closely with SWL cancer coordinators who track patients through their pathways.
There is also an element of data provision and interpretation to support future development.
Main duties of the job
The post holder should be familiar with the cancer and head and neck pathway.
We deliver our services as part of the Southwest London integrated care network which brings together a range of health and care services to deliver joined up, responsive high-quality care for complex patient pathways using an integrated, whole system approach.
