Administrator for Doctors in GP Training (30 hours per week)
The post-holder will provide administration support for every aspect of the three year GPVTS Training Programme.
Resolve wide-ranging queries from the cohort of around 60 trainees. Support the three Programme Directors and set up weekly teaching with reference to the curriculum.
Assist the Programme Directors with rotation planning, GP allocations and data/information requested by RCGP/NHSE.
Administer GPVTS finances and control expenditure within the annual budget.

Main duties of the job
- To support and manage the GPVTS Training Programme provided at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for doctors, in line with the educational contract(s) between the Trust and education commissioners (Royal College of General Practitioners) and in accordance with Trust policies and procedures. The post holder is required to act with a high degree of autonomy.
- Responsibility for assisting the Programme Directors organise and plan teaching programmes, courses, seminars and meetings and for maintaining data bases to enable efficient reporting of outcomes and programme delivery.
- Liaising with RCGP, Training Programme Directors, College Deans, Educational and Clinical Supervisors and hospital departments in specialties related to GP training.
- Organising speakers, room bookings, residential courses, away days, catering and external Pharmaceutical companies to support training programmes.
