Senior Sister / Charge Nurse - MOPD

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse to manage the Main Outpatients Department. The MOPD is an outpatient service. It is a Monday to Friday service, and the post holder will support the delivery of clinics and minor procedures through the unit. It is a big unit co-located with the other departments, and consists of 28 clinic rooms, 2 minor ops rooms and a waiting/reception area.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide expert specialist knowledge of services and will be expected to support and liaise with the nursing staff, MDT and patients at Kingston Hospital OPD. You will demonstrate leadership skills, excellent coordinating ability to manage clinics and staff allocation, support and represent the Matron when required and demonstrate exceptional nursing care to patients, relatives and visitors.
