Job summary
Currently we have a position(s) for full time Specialist Radiographers (Band 6) with CT skills, within the Radiology service at Kingston Hospital which provides a full range of diagnostic studies. The CT area is equipped with 3 CT scanners, 2 Siemens Definition Edge multi-slice scanners and a state of the art GE Revolution Apex scanner. The rotation includes working in CT which is involved in a 7 day extended working week covering Accident and Emergency, In-patient and Outpatient scanning. Participation in this rota would be an expectation of the role. Other rotational areas include Interventional radiology, General radiology, A&E and the Cath lab. Participation in the on call rota is also expected.
Kingston Hospital NHSFT has recently been given a outstanding QCQ rating.
The Radiology Department has a well progressed equipment refresh and environment plan which began in 2017.

Job Summary
To help provide a comprehensive quality radiological service to a variety of client groups within the trust. Demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills and assist the Lead Radiographer in the provision of the x-ray service line as per SLM criteria (both management and technical).
