Main duties of the job
Speech and Language Therapists are core to the efficient service delivery that we provide to children, young people and their families. As a Speech and Language Therapist in our service, you will deliver care to children, young people and their families in Waltham Forest. You will be working in a special school, this is a school for children with visual impairment as well as other diagnosis such as autism. You will be joining a small team who work in the school as well as a wider network within our Special Schools team. Our band five therapists are well supported through our band five peer supervision group and regular supervision from an experienced therapist. We have regular catch-meetings and service specific meetings. We have both internal and external training opportunities and promote being a reflective team where change is welcomed.
