An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Mental Health professional (Social Worker, RMN, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist) or Post-Graduate Qualified Therapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team working within our Behaviour & Conduct Pathway as the Pathway Lead. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with a background in Systemic Family Therapy, Clinical/Forensic Psychology, Social Work or therapists with training in NVR, DBT and/or EMDR.
Main duties of the job
- Be responsible for managing the referrals within the Behaviour and Conduct Pathway
- You will undertake mental health assessments and routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based clinical interventions in line with the CYP-IAPT programme within CYPMHS
- Promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people and families in the community through clinical interventions in the care pathway
- Undertake assessments and deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, such as NVR, DBT or family work, to children and young people with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties where appropriate
- Assess and develop plans of care to meet the complex needs of patients with a variety of conditions.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
