Job summary
The post holder will be expected to act as an expert practitioner/role model, delivering the Significant 7 Training Package to support Care Home Staff to develop and maintain clinical practice knowledge and skills. The post holder will use toolkits to enhance clinical competence of individuals/teams and improving provision of the fundamentals of care. The post holder will also be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust's Values in their day-to-day work.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Be involved in the training and development of work-based learning for care home staff
- Provide assessment support to the needs of care home staff
- Maintains communication networks to support identified care home staff, community nursing staff and hospital multi-disciplinary teams to support work-based learners.
- Take opportunities to train and reflect on practice within the teams and alongside other teams to promote holistic care to service users.
- Work alongside staff in practice (care homes) to support the development of skills and competencies in the workplace.
