As part of the Mental health transformation another exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical / counselling psychologist CBT therapist with the capability/interest to deliver evidence-based and evidence-led interventions for people who are presenting with psychosis. .
We are currently offering another part time 6 session post in the borough of Redbridge NELFT.
This post is aimed at enhancing Redbridge psychosis pathway team capacity to deliver a creative, evidence-based service, responsive to the needs of our service users, families and carers.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as a core member of the secondary care psychological intervention service which offers evidence based CBTp /EMDR and Family interventions for psychosis.
The Redbridge secondary care psychological services team is comprised of CBTp specialists, BABPC accredited supervisors and DBT specialists. We are committed to support you to develop your skills through training, excellent supervision and practice.
We are looking for a psychologist that wishes to increase their skills in order to provide the best possible outcomes for our diverse population.

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
Starting with Us
NELFT places great importance on new starters being properly welcomed into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend several drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 p.a. pro rata for part time).
High Cost Area Supplement - Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 p.a. pro rata for part time).

Experience of working in an evidence-based way with clients presenting with complex non psychosis.
We would consider applications from trainees due to qualify this year, if on a recognised training course and due to finish in September.
Post holders will have pro rata session per week CPD.
The psychology service regularly takes doctoral level clinical and counselling psychology trainees from London universities. The Trust has a positive commitment to training and development and expects its psychology staff to engage in helping to modernise the skills of the workforce. Psychological therapies are highly regarded and seen as pivotal in supporting the roll out of NICE guidance and other Department of Health requirements.
