Band 6 RMN- Eating Disorder (CYP)
We are looking for a Specialist Nurse to join an exciting branch of the well established and innovative Lifespan Eating Disorder Service in North East London NHS Foundation Trust. This post will be part of the HIVE team, an Intensive Community Treatment (ICT) pathway working with children and young people and their family and carers. There will be strong links and close working with the existing Eating Disorder team, with management and the clinical lead coming from the existing service. Main duties of the job
Clinical Skills
Perform and interpret specific investigations, such as blood pressure and ECGs, in order to manage the patient's clinical risk effectively.
Ensure all patients have individualised care plans and that these are reviewed at appropriate intervals.
Develop clinical practice and procedures that best support the well being of adult service users with eating disorders in the community
Work with colleagues to ensure that specialist, professional, skilled clinical care is provided for patients and that this is adapted to meet their individual needs.
About us
Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

- RMN, RGN, RNLD, OT or Social Work. Registration with relevant professional body
