Waltham Forest CAMHS have an exciting opportunity to welcome a new full time (37.5hrs) CAMHS Access Lead. This post-holder will have strong operational and clinical leadership role for the Access team, the front door of the CAMHS service. They will be accountable for the performance of the Access Team and will be responsible for ongoing development of the team, in liaison with the CAMHS service lead and wider management team. The post holder will engage with all relevant stakeholders for ensuring that the model of assessment and care is adapted as required to meet current demands and priorities. The base for the post is Wood Street Health Centre, 6 Linford Road, London, E17 3LA, and the post holder will be required working across various sites within NELFT (if required).
Main duties of the job

To act as a member of the CAMHS management team, contributing to overall service development.
To offer strong operational oversight and management of the Access Team.
To provide clinical and strategic leadership to the Access Team.
To be accountable for the performance of the Access Team. To monitor performance against current Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and service priorities and to ensure that service delivery is planned in a way that meets these priorities.
To work collaboratively with other professionals and services as a representative of Waltham Forest CAMHS.

Starting with Us
NELFT places great importance on new starters being properly welcomed into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend several drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £5,941
