NELFT North East London Foundation Trust

Mental Health & Wellness Team OT Clinical Team Lead

Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

We currently have vacancies within our Central (Church Road Office) and our South (Oasis House) Mental Health and Wellness Team's.

We have had new investment in mental health worker posts, peer support workers posts and support time recovery workers to support the integrated team to work as one around the patient, their families and their social networks. Our vision is for this new investment to help start a new era in our mental healthcare provision at NELFT, making us among the most holistic, relational and person-centred services in the country.

Main duties of the job

Come and be part of one of our newly planned, integrated mental health & wellness team in Havering. These new teams combine assessment and early intervention and recovery services, removing the need for a two-tier service and no more hand off of patients from one service to another. You will be supporting the transition of services at a clinical specialist level, underpinned by compassionate leadership.

In alignment with the Community Mental Health Framework for Adults, we intend for our teams to be trauma informed and person-centred, putting relationships back into the heart of care.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
