Qualifications needed:

Full GMC Registration with a license to practice

Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders

At least 2 years of postgraduate experience

We are currently recruiting for a Community CAMHS Core Trainee Doctor (CT 1 - 2) position in the Redbridge Child Development Centre, Grovelands, Grove Road, Chadwell Heath, Essex, RM6 4XH. This is a fixed-term for 12 months, full-time, new post. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to it as soon as possible.

You will join 2.9wte CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist and 2.3wte Specialty Doctors within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Redbridge.

Provide medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases.

Work directly with children and young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers, and acute hospitals.

Work alongside the three CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists and three Specialty Doctors within the service

Develop links already established with the local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards.

Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care.

Support your peers and the team manager and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative.

Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
