Job summary
This is the perfect opportunity for a dedicated and experienced administrator to join our friendly community team based at South Forest Centre in Leytonstone E11 for a 1 year fixed term post. Our team provides essential compassionate mental health support and care to residence in Waltham Forest.
As an essential part of the community team, you will be based in the admin office and be supported by our existing welcoming administrators to work closely with the clinical staff in delivering our Trust mission of helping clients live the life they want.
If you are an individual with previous experience working in a busy office environment, who is confident in using IT systems as part of your day-to-day work, thrives in a dynamic busy setting and is keen to join a team striving to make a real difference in your local community, then we are looking for you.
Main duties of the job
This role is at the heart of the Waltham Forest Talking Therapies team which means you will work closely with clinicians, management and outside agencies to ensure that they have everything admin wise they need to provide the best possible care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is comfortable multitasking in a busy environment, someone who can communicate confidently, build strong working relationships with a variety of people, who can prioritise their workload and who is genuinely interested in understanding and supporting the challenges that mental health care provides.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 p.a. pro rata for part time).
High Cost Area Supplement - Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 p.a. pro rata for part time).
