Thurrock Healthy Familoes 0-19 Team are pleased to offer a fixed term contract for 12 months for Senior Administrator post.
The successful applicant will work proactively alongside Looked after Children LAC Nurses, administrators, and CSPA coordinators.
To work in collaboration with senior managers and colleagues across targeted Children's Services and Universal Children's Services.
Ensure effective channels of communication are maintained between the Children's Nursing Teams and relevant colleagues in other organisations.
The post holder will provide support to the team by ordering supplies and supervision of staff
Main duties of the job
- To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Looked After Children Team to ensure the smooth running of the service, with an awareness of the need for absolute confidentiality always.
- To respond to telephone & email communication from other professionals & organisations in a timely manner. Using own initiative to ensure that all and urgent enquiries dealt with promptly and escalated where required to team members.
- To ensure effective and timely processing all IHA /RHA requests including escalation when required and timely follow up of any outstanding paperwork required.
- To ensure timely provision of IHA/RHA reports & health information to Children's Social Care.
- To support in the recording of IHA/RHA performance activity on agreed EPR. To undertake regular reviews of performance data jointly with Local Authority Business Support to ensure accurate capturing of performance data on both ERP's
- To effectively use Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Excel, Word and databases.
- Where appropriate, to be responsible for arranging meetings, collating agendas, referral information and taking minutes as required.

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
