Job summary
The Mental Health and Wellness team South in Waltham Forest is looking to recruit Mental Health Practitioners for full and part-time vacancies. The post holder will be working within a dynamic and friendly multi-disciplinary team. Applicants will have substantial experience of working within mental health setting and will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills as well as evidence based knowledge of working in the Recovery Model framework.
The Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues trained in Open Dialogue. All successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the projects and apply for training and development initiatives
Main duties of the job
You will be working as part of our multi-disciplinary team and will care coordinate a caseload of service users that have complex and challenging needs. As a nurse or social worker you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team and be part of the mental health transformation.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata).
