We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 7 Therapist to join our enthusiastic and dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Team based at Medway Young Person's Wellbeing Service.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a multi disciplinary team (MDT) which offers assessment and treatment to children and young people, who have mental health disorders. Our community based team is in the process of building a robust and innovative treatment 'pathway' system which allows young people to be streamlined directly into either our Mood and Anxiety, Complex, or Conduct and behaviour pathways. The post holder will provide direct assessment and treatment to young people with a variety of mental health needs as well as being a clinical supervisor to junior team members.
Our team thrives on the creativity and innovation and expertise that comes from within the MDT, we all work collaboratively to manage the teams caseload and to ensure that our clinical treatment pathways are evidence based and accessible.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
