Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified mental health professional with clinical and leadership experience within child and adolescent mental health services to join in a full-time Access and Assessment lead role.Redbridge Emotional Wellbeing Mental Health Service (EWMHS) is for anybody aged 0-18 and living in The London Borough of Redbridge. The CAMHS Tier II and Tier III services no longer exist and has been replaced with an integrated EWMHS. Any young person experiencing emotional wellbeing or mental health problems, (or any parent, guardian, professional or teacher of a child who is experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties), may access our service.
Main duties of the job
We are creating a modern service that fits with children's lives in a way that best suits them. This is an on-going process of change and development and therefore provides a great opportunity for individuals to take an active part in service developments, building new service models and thinking creatively about how we can build our service to meet the needs of CYP in the best way.For this post we are looking for a suitably qualified and highly motivated mental health professional to work in Redbridge EWMHS. We are seeking individuals with a range of assessment skills and significant clinical experience of using evidence-based interventions with children, young people, and their carers; as well as experience of working with professionals from other agencies The successful candidate will be part of a busy integrated EWMHS service. The post holder will be responsible for developing Redbridge EWMHS Triage service with the Clinical Leads, providing clinical triage assessment and brief intervention and supervision of junior clinical staff.
About us
You will hold NMC registration as an RMN, or equivalent HCPC / professional registration and will need to evidence the ability to work to high standards, showing good time management and be able to prioritise your work effectively.The post holder will receive regular clinical supervision and will be expected to attend and participate in MDT team meetings. CPD opportunities will be available.
