Job summary

BHR Falls team provides multi disciplinary care to patients within the Borough of Havering. The service aim is to assess and treat frail patients in their own homes and clinics and avoid unnecessary hospital admission. service.The therapist will be supported with continuing professional development. The therapist will be supported to undertake training in order to competently assess holistically and order equipment that is necessary to keep a patient safe at home allowing them to complete activities of daily living.

Main duties of the job

The band 7 will be expected to supervise and manage junior members of staff and be supported to develop and deputise for senior members of staff in their absence. You will be supported to undertake clinical educator's course and support students.

To ensure service delivery is of a high quality we provide quality care 365 days. NELFT operate a flexible working policy.

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham Essex

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,108 to a maximum of £5,177).
