Job summary
The simulation centre delivers training courses to clinical staff, doctors, medical students, nurses and other staff groups, using high tech mannequins in a training environment designed to replicate the ward or clinical area.
The post holder is responsible for providing administrative support in the day to day running of the centre and to work with the simulation team to plan and co-ordinate a broad range of educational activities. This will require the post holder to plan activities whilst considering a number of internal and external complex and conflicting factors.

Main duties of the job
Provision of administrative support for all courses run within the simulation centre, including all courses for internal staff and for external candidates, to include:
Booking of candidates onto courses and provision of all pre-course materials, sending payment links and sending reminders to ensure timely booking. Collate booking information in spreadsheets.
Maintenance of the simulation calendar and booking process. Monitor, collect and collate study leave forms as directed by the head of simulation education.
Pre-course communications with candidates and faculty as directed, arranging dates, times, accommodation, faculty, catering and any associated materials for courses.
Meet and greet candidates and faculty at the start of all courses. Ensure all candidates complete the appropriate documentation before they leave the reception area and that they have a brief orientation to the centre.
