Job summary
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit Trust Reg to start immediately.
Whilst the candidates will not be on a training programme, the successful candidates will receive similar training and will participate in various development programmes as other Reg colleagues.
These programmes have been designed to develop junior doctors' generic skills. The post holders will be responsible for the care of inpatients and day patients under the direction of the Consultant Urologists
Main duties of the job
The post holders will be expected to work one weekend in every eight until 8 pm, and one week night in five out of every 8 weeks until 8 pm. This is in rotation with the other reg in Surgery.
Please note candidates must hold a full and current GMC registration.

The Hillingdon Hospital is situated in Uxbridge in the south of the London Borough of Hillingdon. It has over 400 beds catering the health need of the population (280,000) of Borough of Hillingdon.
Amongst these services is a large Accident and EmergencyDepartment, which deals with approximately 80,000 attendances a year.
Following major review of acute services in west London, Hillingdon Hospital was awarded the status of a major hospital with provision for management of Level II trauma.
The A&E Department is undergoing further development following a previous redevelopment programme, which included a new observation and assessment ward.
There are 7 operating theatres. The critical care facility adjacent to theatres has 9 ITU. The hospital has a Day Care Unit comprising 23 beds. The Division of Support Services offers excellent diagnostic facilities in pathology, radiology (CT scanning, MRI scanning, Nuclear Medicine and Spec CT) and medical physics.
The Trust has a board of Directors, including 5 non-executive Directors, who are responsible for the business planning of the hospital. They are committed to providing the greatest range of services possible, at high quality.
