Staff Nurse

Band 5

37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen in for a registered nurse to join the Bevan ward team.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated registered nurse to join this busy and rewarding department.

You must have a positive outlook to work and the ability to inspire and support others. You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with a wide ranging Multidisciplinary team. You will be key to ensuring that high standards of patient care are maintained.

Successful applicants must have the following

  • Experience in Diabetes and Haematology in ward setting.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Clinical audit knowledge/experience.

Main duties of the job

  • Portray a professional attitude and effective communication skills at all times
  • Assist the Nurse in Charge in the management of the day to day challenges on the ward.
  • Provide high quality care for patients and visitors to the department and hospital
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the MDT
  • Adhere to the Trusts CARES values
  • Manage delegated responsibilities
