Working within Women and Children's in Maternity in the Antenatal Department
You will be working within a team of clerical that are responsible for the day top day Admin Duties describe in the Job Description ranging from call handling , data input , filing and Receptionist duties.
Working along side a large multidisciplinary team
Our department supports the whole of Maternity in Admin and clerical duties
Main duties of the job
To predominantly work with all members of the Clerical and Extended Maternity team
Essential Data entry, Liaising with GP and Extended Multidisciplinary Team for maternity
Booking system for Antenatal pathway, making outpatient appointment's and liaise with other departments when required to make these appointments.
Take telephone enquiries and escalate if and appropriate.

The successful candidate will work closely with the staff in Antenatal. The post holder will be responsible for office duties including tracing, requesting and obtaining patients notes, preparing patients' notes for day. liaising with other departments and making out patient appointments. Dealing face to face and taking phone calls from patients and their relatives, ensuring that all enquires, whether by telephone or in person, are delt with in a confidential, sensitive and polite manner.
Familiarity with the use & workings of IT systems would be an advantage though training will be provided.
