An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Fleming Escalation Ward as a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant. We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and caring individuals who will enjoy the challenge of working as a Healthcare Assistant within a critical care environment. This role is crucial in providing support to our registered nurses in caring for patients.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to develop their interpersonal, communication, and caring skills. Successful candidates will be required to maintain high standards to a high quality of care is delivered to patients. If successful, a range of training and development opportunities will be made available to you.

Main duties of the job
- To provide patient-centred and compassionate care at all times and advocate for the patient.
- To deliver clinical care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- The post holder is responsible for ensuring that patients are cared for in a safe environment and that privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
- The post holder will provide direct care and provide verbal and written reports.
- To actively seek the views of patients / carers on their understanding of their care needs and develop a relationship to ensure the patients experience is positive.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services, including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics, and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
