Job summary
Part Time 35 hours per week (shift pattern covers five shifts per week and covers Monday to Sunday; an element of weekend working will be required).

The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust comprises of the Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals.
The rapid response team provide a deep cleaning service to vacated patient beds across the site. There is a requirement in some cases to wear full PPE. You will also be required to facilitate the cleaning of the external grounds on a rota.
The ability to work flexibly and complete a range of shifts is essential. Typically the shifts are 0600-1330, 0800-1600, 1100-1830, 1400-2200 and occasionally to complete a night shift i.e. 2200-0600.
The ability to work flexibly and complete a range of shifts is essential. Typically, the shifts are 06:00 to 13:30; 08:00 to 16:00; 11 to 18:30, 14:00 to 22:00, as well as occasional night shifts (e.g. 22:00 to 06:00).

Main duties of the job
Our Facilities Department provides a range of vital support services across the hospital including cleaning, portering and housekeeping 24/7. We are now recruiting domestic assistants to join our friendly and professional team at Hillingdon Hospital.
Our domestic team take pride in ensuring all areas of the hospital meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all patient, visitor and staff areas. For these positions it is desirable to have previous cleaning experience but not essential, we can provide full training. You will however need to have:
- good communication skills both written and verbal
- be able to demonstrate good customer service skills

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services, including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics, and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
