Job summary
The Senior Patient Systems Officer will be responsible for the overall management of the System Management team within Patient Systems. Liaison with senior users and supplier account managers to ensure prompt resolution to issues will be a key part of this role. Close work with Project/Programme Managers will be essential to ensure a good understanding of all projects relating to clinical systems and the progress and implications on the Patient Systems team of such work.
Main duties of the job
- To provide highly complex clinical application support to service users using most appropriate method of communication ie Teams, F2F or telephone.
- To manage overall work packages for the Systems Management Team.
- To maintain relationships with senior supplier account managers and have regular service review meetings to track progress and discuss and work to resolve complex matters that have been escalated.
- To line manage Systems Management team including staff performance and disciplinary issues.
- To support the Advanced Patient Systems Officer with complex enquiries.
