RNOH Junior Clinical Fellowship posts are designed to provide a rounded experience for successful applicants; each has a strong clinical focus alongside educational opportunities that will be the envy of any portfolio.

Main duties of the job

The RNOH JCF post offers an exciting opportunity for resident doctors to take part in the day-to-day management of tertiary referral patients on our inpatient wards; working and learning at one of the UKs leading Specialist Orthopaedic centres.

These posts are ideally suited to candidates seeking to further their career in Orthopaedic Surgery - either at Core Surgical Trainee level yet to enter specialist training or those undertaking an FY3 year. We would also welcome applications from those who are not yet sure of their career direction and are looking to broaden their horizons. Although these posts are not recognised for training, we are committed to support successful applicants with their career progression. You will be assigned an educational supervisor who will support you in personalising your learning opportunities in RNOH and in interview preparations.

This appointment is for Resident Doctors who have satisfactorily completed two years' experience post-medical school and hold a certificate of readiness to enter specialty training. This will typically include doctors at the following grades - FY3, ST1/ST2 and CT1/2 (previous SHO) level.
