Rotational Bed Management & Complex Discharge Sister

Job summary

The post holder will be required to manage and support bed management and complex discharge planning process at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team working closely with the Senior Sister ensuring they provide effective bed management and complex discharge planning across the NHS adult wards and CYP including management of the team.

A high degree of effective coordination, communication, networking and liaison will be required to establish and maintain good working relationships.

The post will undertake a 3-month rotation programme giving the individual an opportunity to gain both bed management and complex discharge skills and experience. This offers a flexible working environment for the team when dealing with critical 'pinch' points within bed management and complex discharge workload.
