The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, confidential and high-quality administrative service to the Pre-Assessment team.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Administrator to join our team. This post will play a crucial role in the patient's pathway.
To act as the first point of contact for patients, members of the public, staff and representatives of external organisations, dealing with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role are to provide a high quality administrative service to the Pre Assessment team.
You will need:
An understanding of the pivotal role Pre Assessment has in the inpatient pathway.
Good IT skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Able to utilise a variety of strategies to communicate effectively with adults/ carers / parents and those involved in their care.
Excellent communication skills
Good practical skills and organisational ability
Answer the telephone and answer queries from patients and internal / external staff providing information as requested and as per department protocols.
Work under your own initiative as well as under guidance from medical clinicians and line management.
