Job summary

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant in Interventional Chronic Pain to join its expert multidisciplinary team. This substantive post offers a unique opportunity to deliver specialist care within a nationally renowned centre of excellence. The role involves leading outpatient clinics, performing interventional procedures, participating in MDTs, and contributing to departmental governance, teaching, and research. Additionally, there are anaesthetic sessions working alongside our highly specialised and skilled surgeons.

You will work closely with a dedicated team including fellows, nurse specialists, therapists, and pharmacists, supported by robust administrative infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovation, education, and improving patient outcomes in chronic pain management.

Main duties of the job

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic and dedicatedConsultant in Interventional Chronic Pain to join our team. Based across our Stanmore and Bolsover Street sites, you'll play a key role in delivering care to patients with complex neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.

You'll lead outpatient clinics, perform advanced procedures, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings. There is no on-call commitment currently with this role. This role is supported by a skilled team--including fellows, nurse specialists, therapists, and pharmacists--you'll help shape the future of pain management at RNOH.
