Job summary
Assist qualified Casting Room Staff as well as patients and their families or carers with the assessment of individual casting needs, planning and implementation of casting procedures and the development of programmes of care and the implementation and evaluation of those programmes. Carry out all relevant forms of patient care required. Maintain high standards of care within the department. After 2 years post registration experience the post holder should be able to regularly take charge of the clinical area in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse or Department Manager.
