Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Dermatology team at the RFH as Paediatric Dermatology CNS. We are looking for a nurse who has experience of working with Children with dermatological presentations ideally having worked as a clinical nurse specialist although induction, training and support will be provided according to their level of experience.

The successful candidate will join a well-established, experienced, and friendly Dermatology Team. They are expected to work autonomously, they will be well supported and supervised within their role and have the opportunity to develop management and service improvement skills.

Main duties of the job

To conduct holistic assessment including physical examination, observation and ordering, conducting and interpreting relevant tests and investigations to devise care plans that promote the activities of daily living for children and young people within the service.

To deliver nurse led clinics, assessing and promoting the health of individuals.

To work in collaboration with the multi professional team, contributing expert, evidence based knowledge and skills to relevant aspects of the patients care and treatment.

To plan and conduct appropriate follow up, closure or transition of care for the patient

To develop and provide patient education and information which is

appropriate and responsive to individual needs and level of

development.
