Job summary

Finchley Memorial Community Diagnostic Centre offers convenient access to important diagnostic tests including Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Phlebotomy, Respiratory and Imaging Tests - including CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-Ray in a non-acute outpatient setting.

In this position you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a quality clinical support service for our patients and referring Medical Staff. This will involve providing clinical support to practitioners and doctors throughout the departments and assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both patients and staff.

Main duties of the job

The clinical department assistant team leader has a breadth of knowledge across the clinical departments operational within the CDC providing holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings.

The clinical department assistant team leader works independently under the leadership of the ultrasound clinical lead, working within the scope of practice of a clinical department assistant whilst providing support and leadership to the clinical department assistant workforce.
