Job summary
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Hospital are inviting applicants to apply for a consultant geriatrician post in the Department of Health Services for Elderly People (HSEP) at the Hampstead site.
The successful applicant will be joining a group of 9 dynamic, forward looking consultants to deliver high quality care for older patients.
Applicants will be expected to have suitable experience in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine (GIM). On call is for acute geriatric medicine on a 1 in 10. There is also a commitment to teaching and educationally supervising medical students.

Main duties of the job
This role will be predominantly focused on delivering a consultant-led liaison service to frail and complex patients on the HSEP (Health Services for Elderly People) ward and developing our frailty liaison service. Clinical supervision and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level will also be an important aspect of this role.
The appointee will also work closely and in partnership with our Acute Medicine colleagues as well as the wider multidisciplinary team.
