Main duties of the job

Responsible for providing specialised Occupational Therapy (OT) service to patients treated within RFH services in the given clinical area.This requires working under guidance and incorporating evidence-based practice (EBP) in the management of patient care.Clinically supervises and guides the professional work of less experienced therapy staff and students as appropriate, while complying with professional and departmental standards of practice.Assist in operational issues in the absence of the Therapy Team Leader.

Participates in a nine monthly rotational scheme across the following:

Vascular and AmputeesTrauma and OrthopaedicsHand TherapyHealth Services for Older PeopleRapid Response / A&EAcute Stroke and Neurology
