Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the R&D team as R&D Management Accountant. The post holder will be responsible for management accounting for Clinical Research Facility and any other delegated areas of responsibility encompassing both income and expenditure reporting.
Assists R&D Deputy Finance Manger to prepare appropriate financial reports to set timelines with written analysis / commentaries for the various departmental senior managers enabling them to manage their areas of the business
Main duties of the job
To manage funding apportionment for Clinical Research Facility according to service provided and costing.o To ensure that the period end reports for the directorates are accurate, error free and include all accruals necessary to present an accurate picture of the financial situation of the directorate.o To attend and lead meetings with budget holders for the areas of responsibility.o To assist the R&D Deputy Finance Manager in income reconciliations, based on costing and schedules and ensure timely billing for scheduled income.o To assist with management of income distribution model and reconciliations across various areas within Research and Development.o To assist the R&D Directorate to prepare annual I&E budgets in the correct form and according to timelines.o To undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and grade as specified by the line manager.
