Job summary
We are seeking a Service manager with a proactive approach to join Therapy Services for 1 year maternity leave cover starting April 2026.
The successful individual will have leadership experience, organisational skills and ability to adapt to change. This is a key operational role ensuring smooth day-to-day running of Therapy Services, compliance with performance targets and delivery of high-quality support to our Therapy Services teams. You will play a key role in shaping services, supporting staff and ensuring excellent outcomes for patients.
This is an exciting time to be part of Therapy Services. We are developing ways of working and are looking for a strong, forward-thinking leader to help us achieve our vision. You'll have demonstrable management experience within the NHS and significant experience of working with clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve service improvement.
Main duties of the job
- lead and manage administrative teams to ensure a smooth running of the admin support
- drive service improvement initiatives
- deliver appraisal and mandatory training requirements
- support the directorate with ESR management and recruitment
- support senior management team in service development plans to align national and local strategies
