Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and caring neonatal nurse to join our well established and friendly neonatal multidisciplinary team.

We are a Local Neonatal Unit within the busy in North Central & East London Operational Delivery Neonatal Network and actively participate in Network groups and business.We are passionate about working in partnership with parents and delivering safe family centered care. Our Neonatal unit has 24 cots, which is comprised of 2 intensive cots, 6 high dependency cots and 16 special care costs. Designated LNU, (Level 2) we provide excellent care for preterm babies from 27 weeks' gestation and for sick new-born babies. We provide stabilization for babies at born at lower gestations prior to transfer to NICU.In order to apply you need to be RN/RSCN/RM with neonatal qualifications and skills. You will be joining a team who work a variety of shifts including internal rotation to night duty, weekends and bank holidays. Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for the development of care and the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plan utilizing specialist skills to provide family centred care with the support of senior staff and the ward manager. The post holder will promote a friendly and supportive environment for parents and relatives in which they can learn to care for their babies.
