Job summary

Are you passionate about delivering cutting-edge treatment and care to patients? We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team to join our dynamic team and deliver patient centred care within a clinical trial environment. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the development of our department's capabilities while delivering vital clinical research across a broad range of conditions. We are specifically seeking candidates with SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) training who are eager to transition their skills into the research setting. Your skills will be instrumental in expanding our oncology portfolio, and advancing our facility's capabilities. In this balanced role, you will primarily work on Oncology clinical trials while also contributing to research across other specialities.

Main duties of the job

You will take the lead in managing patient participation in our clinical trials. Be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and supportingpatients throughout their trial journey, while alsoperformingvital study assessments and ensuring data is captured accurately and on deadline. This role requires seamless collaboration with diverse healthcare professionals and teams, so strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail are critical. You will thrive both autonomously, managing your own busy workload, and as a collaborative team member. Candidates should be able to demonstrate alignment with the Trust values, as well as competence across all responsibilities detailed in the job description and person specification. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring prior experience in Oncology Nursing with SACT competency, clinical research and have worked in a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse capacity.
