Job summary
We are advertising an exciting role as a Band 5 Office Manager for the Data Team in the London Breast Screening Administration Hub, within the Royal Free Hospital London NHS Foundation Trust (Royal Free); based within our Edgware Community Hospital site.
The role of the Hub is to support all 6 London Clinical Breast Screening Services and over 1.3 million eligible women across London in their 3 yearly screening round, aged 50-70. The Hub provides administrative support in relation to numerous administrative functions, including (but not exhaustive) patient data collation and reporting, appointment scheduling and a call centre to manage appointment cancellations and rebooks.
The post holder will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the day-to-day functions of the Data Team within the London Breast Screening Hub. This is a progressive and expanding service that is friendly and supportive, offering a high-quality service to its clients and patients.

Main duties of the job
The Office Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the day to day Hub Data Team functions of the London Breast Screening Hub.
To provide leadership to the Data Administration Officers with the London Breast screening Data Team.
To oversee the management and monitoring of staff training and competency framework. The post holder will make informed decisions within the area of responsibility, in accordance with local, regional and national guideline/requirement policies and procedures.
The post holder will also be expected to carry out duties as per discussions with the Service Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, and Senior Operations Manager. To develop knowledge and ability to provide cover for key elements of all Administration Officer's work. The specific elements to be covered by each Administration Officer will be specified by the Service Manager.
To deliver support services that is in line with the Trust and NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) guidelines and targets.
