Job summary
Diagnostic Consultant General Radiologist 1 POST, total 10 PAs, Locum fixed term appointment 12 months. This is a post to cover maternity leave. A sub-speciality interest in Chest and Cardiac Imaging, Neuroradiology or MSK radiology desirable but not essential.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team of radiologists to help deliver a world class service and support our registrar training programme.
The post holder will work with the existing departmental consultants and should be able to demonstrate excellent specialist imaging skills, in addition to strong general radiology abilities.
The clinical duties of the post will include supporting all aspects of the their subspeciality as well as contributing to the general workload of the department. The role will include working in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the services in line with performance KPIs and clinical outcome metrics. The job requires the post holder to be able to work under pressure and to be flexible and adaptive to the needs of the patient and the service. Appropriate sub-speciality interest and training is essential.
