Job summary
This post holder will be responsible for the operational management of all aspects of the Community Diagnostic Centre at Finchley MemorialHospital.The post holder will work with senior clinical leaders and managers to drive and deliver excellent management leadership, support, and capacity.They will ensure that effective management and delivery underpins the leadership of the directorate they manage and that the Senor OperationsManager is supported to ensure that leadership decisions are translated into transforming delivery of services.The Operations Manager will work in partnership with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure the full engagement of all staff in the directorate in the delivery of the Business Units strategy.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities:o Manage operational staff within the CDC.o Provide senior management leadership in supporting the CDC's contribution to the Divisional and Trust agenda and national plan,within the clinical and corporate governance frameworks of the Trust.o In association with the Clinical Directors, be accountable to the Divisional Board for financial performance relating to delegated budgetsfor which this post is responsible and the operational performance of the directorate/s providing reports to the Divisional Board asrequired.o Provide senior management leadership in leading on Quality Safety experience and effectiveness for the directorate.o Promote world class care and work in a way that is patient-centred, involves service users, responds positively to feedback from usergroups and promotes teamwork across services.o Promote a culture of safety and quality, openness and accountability, public service, and teamwork in an environment of flexibility inwhich innovation can flourish in response to patients' needs.o Support and manage the directorate to meet Trust and Monitor performance objectives.o Develop appraisal, objective-setting, and performance development plans for all relevant staff. This includes ensuring that all staffgroups covered by the post-holder have clear objectives set as part of their appraisal with professional heads.
