Job summary
To be a clinical expert and have overall continuing responsibility for thedelivery of high quality patient care in the Intensive Care unit, andSurgical HDU demonstrating clinical leadership.
Main duties of the job
? Carries out specialist nursing procedures in caring for critically ill adults? To be responsible for the supervision and development of all nurses,students (including medical students on placement) and supportworkers.? To contribute to the effective management of the department resources including, pay and non-pay budgets, human resources and the clinical environment.? To contribute to the development of polices and evidence-basedpractice as appropriate.? To maintain a safe clinical environment conducive to patient care.
