The Assistant practitioner works as part of the team and is accountable for the delivery of patient care under the leadership of the registered nurse.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for the Assistant Practioner works as part of the team and is accountable for the delivery of patient care under the leadership of the registered nurse.The post holder is responsible for all aspects of patient care during their stay including the assessment, planning , delivery and evaluation of direct patient care.To support the Charge Nurse/Senior Sister to monitor the safety and quality of care for patients ensuring it delivers the best clinical outcomes and patient experience.To supervise and assist with the training and development of Nursing Assistants under the supervision of the registered Nurse.To act as an effective role model and mentor promoting excellence through practice.
