Job summary
An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced midwife to become the band 7 lead for the Day Assessment Unit. The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Maternity Day Assessment Unit.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will facilitate the professional and clinical development of members of their team, ensuring delivery of high calibre care, and efficient use of facilities, manpower and other resources. The post holder will be the lead professional for the development and continuing development of the Antenatal and Maternity Day Unit Out Patient Services. The post holder will work with band 7 leads and matrons across all maternity to ensure a harmonised service and promote joint working/learning.
