Job summary
In this position you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a quality radiology service for our patients and referring medical staff. This will involve providing clinical support to Doctors , Sonographers and Radiographers throughout the department, and assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both patients and staff.
You will be required to rotate through different Radiology areas (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Breast unit and A&E imaging) and assist the staff in providing the highest qualities of care to a diverse range of patients.

An exciting opportunity has become available in the Radiology Department of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust for Radiology Department Assistants. The department is again undergoing a multi million pound redevelopment program whereby Nuclear Medicine, MRI and the Interventional Unit are upgrading their equipment.
The working pattern is a mixture of day shifts over 7 days.
The department actively encourages continued professional development (CPD) and opportunities are available for further training and development.
The Royal Free Hospital is situated in the beautiful Hampstead area, a vibrant part of London with many cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs, and the hospital is located in close proximity to Hampstead Heath. The hospital is easily accessible being 5 minutes from Underground and Overground train services as well as regular buses. It has a diverse range of complex specialties, a busy A&E department and we are a centre of excellence for both Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary(HPB) and vascular work.
