Job summary
We are looking for an individual to join the Urology Department to manage and maintain general urology and elective pathways, including but not limited to; RTT Validation, within a large cancer/benign service, working with the Urology admin team to better the performance of our service. The successful applicant will have specific responsibility for our Urology diagnostic pathways and will also need to demonstrate flexibility to support other Urology sub specialities as required.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a full time CAS Pathway Navigator to join the Urology department. We are looking for a positive and motivated person with an eye for detail to join our team. The successful candidate is required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have:
- Previous experience of working with the public and/or patients in a healthcare environment
- Experience of interacting withstaff at all levels
- Previous administrative and organisational experience
- Experience of managing and prioritising own workload and working to deadlines
- Experience of dealing with non-routine and complex problems
