Main duties of the job
The candidate will be responsible for providing adult rehabilitation services within the department. This will include key duties such as:
- Fitting of digital behind-the-ear hearing aids that are blue-tooth compatible
- Assessing the hearing of adults with reported hearing difficulties
- Providing support to cover adult and paediatric ENT clinics
- Using outcome questionnaires to review patient hearing needs
- Hearing aid follow ups - both over the phone and in person
- Helping with service development work and departmental audits
- Training support for our PTP and BSc students within the department

- Experience of working in an NHS / hospital setting providing basic level of diagnostic and rehabilitative care (i.e. one year clinical placement as trainee)
