Job summary
The Group Director of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and clinical psychologists is a key role within the Royal Free London (RFL). Reporting directly to the Chief Nurse they will provide professional leadership across the AHP and clinical psychology workforce. They will ensure effective input of AHPs and psychologists into the development and delivery of Trust wide strategies, policies and business planning.
Main duties of the job
The Group Director will provide strategic direction to the AHP and clinical psychology professions acting as a role model demonstrating compassionate leadership as well as the RFL values.
Reporting directly to the Group Chief Nurse, the Group Director of AHPs and clinical psychologists provides professional leadership and strategic direction for AHPs and clinical psychologists, developing and implementing standards across the Trust which support professional development and leadership and high quality care.
The Group Director will provide visible leadership and mentorship across the various health units within the RFL group, striving for innovation, excellence and quality in the care delivered across the organisation.
They are responsible for establishing and maintaining strong and effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships across local, regional and national networks.
